Doctorate in Nursing Practice
I am an AANP board certified Family Nurse Practitioner born and raised in Massachusetts by two amazing Cape Verdean immigrant parents, alongside my sister and two brothers. I received my second Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2015, as well as my Masters in Nursing in 2018 and Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2021 from UMASS.
Family Nurse Practitioner
Prior to working in aesthetics, I worked as a registered nurse for over a decade in various healthcare settings. I continue to work in aesthetics, regenerative medicine, health & wellness and continue to expand my skillset. I have a passion for helping others and giving my patients guidance and support to strive for the best quality of life, while feeling and looking great in the process.
I am a very easy-going person, who loves to smile and bring my sense of humor along to make anyone instantly at ease in my hands. When I am not busy at the office, I love to attend church, participate in outreach, catch up with family and friends, watch movies, travel, shop, and try new foods and activities.
I entered the medical beauty and health industry to procedurally help people get healthy, have youthful appearances and learn how to keep it that way. I fell in love with using my hands to help transform what is already beautiful into astounding. My eye for detail and desire to see results and happy clients is what keeps me striving to learn more and do more. I have a passion for helping others and giving my clients all the guidance, support and outward form to strive to be forever blessed and fabulous! So….what are you waiting for? Reach out to me, I'm waiting for you!
Dermal fillers, such as JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, and Versa® are gel-like substances that are injected underneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines, or enhance facial contours. Using dermal fillers to make changes in the appearance of your skin is becoming much more popular with people having wrinkle treatments, lip enhancement procedures, and other rejuvenating cosmetic surgery. The Dermal Fillers we use at Bella Rose Aesthetics are made from hyaluronic acid, which has the protein properties to attract water molecules and then retains them naturally. This means that when dermal fillers are injected into your skin, they temporarily increase volume where you need it most. Once the product dissipates over time (usually within 1-2 years), your skin will return to its normal state.
Dermal Fillers & Collagen Stimulators
Collagen Stimulators actually refers to using hyperdilute formats of Sculptra and Radiesse (two dermal fillers that are not made of hyaluronic acid) and a bovine collagen (i.e. Bellafill) to improve the skin, rather than changing the shape or volume of a face or feature.
Each filler is uniquely formulated to have a certain texture and feel, which means different fillers provide different benefits. The effects can last anywhere between three months and five years (or more), depending on the specific filler used and the area where it is injected.
What are Neurotoxins?
Neurotoxins are substances that are toxic to the nervous system and can disrupt the normal functioning of the nervous system by interfering with the transmission of nerve impulses. This disruption can lead to many symptoms. Neurotoxins can be found in various sources, including environmental pollutants, food, drugs, and specific medical treatments.
